Be compassionate to yourself and others - Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki
Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is defined as spiritual energy, or the beautiful and loving life force that surrounds and embodies all living things. When we experience stress, pain, illness or worry, our energy often becomes unbalanced, impeding the natural flow of energy through the body. Reiki helps to return the body’s flow of energy to its intended state of harmony and creates a state of peacefulness and calming. Reiki is a holistic, natural hands-on system that promotes healing in body, mind and spirit.
Reiki II introduces three of the Reiki symbols and mantras. A large part of the training received in this four day Second Degree Reiki class is centered on the understanding and use of these symbols. Additional Japanese Reiki Techniques and meditations will also be learned as well as significant hands-on experience. You will also receive the Okuden, Reiki II attunement.
